"fi": "Professori Matti Salminen pitää Salmelan historian ensimmäisen laulajien mestarikurssin elokuussa. Opettajina kurssilla toimivat Matti Salmisen lisäksi oopperalaulaja, lauluakatemian taiteellinen johtaja Juha Uusitalo ja Wagner-asiantuntija Pekka Asikainen. Matti Salminen on valinnut ja kutsunut kurssin osallistujat. Mestarikurssin oppilaat esiintyvät Pekka Asikaisen ja Armaan Madarin säestämänä kurssin päätöskonsertissa Taidekeskus Salmelan Puistonäyttämöllä 15.8. klo 14.00. Kurssin erityisenä aiheena on Richard Wagnerin musiikki, ja konsertissa kuullaan osioita eri oopperoista. Tämä konsertti päättää samalla koko Salmelan kulttuurikesän 2021.\r\n\r\nTaidekeskus Salmela kiittää lämpimästi Anita ja Olavi Seppäsen Muistosäätiötä mestarikurssin järjestämisen tukemisesta.\r\n\r\nKonserttipaikoille pääsy avautuu noin tuntia ennen tilaisuuden alkua. Istumapaikkoja ei ole numeroitu. Kesto noin 1 h.\r\n\r\nMestarikurssille 13.8.-15.8. voi hakeutua passiivioppilaaksi. "fi": "Oopperalaulaja, baritoni Waltteri Torikka ja näyttelijä-laulaja Maria Ylipää konsertoivat Salmelan Puistonäyttämöllä kolmessa konsertissa heinäkuussa. Musiikista vastaa Salmela Festival Orchestra, jonka kapellimestari Arto Paju on myös sovittanut kaikki konsertissa kuultavat kappaleet. Konsertissa kuullaan kauneimpia elokuva- ja musikaalisävelmiä täysin uusin sovituksin.\r\n\r\nKonsertit 24.7. klo 15 ja 19\r\n25.7. klo 13\r\nWaltteri Torikka on luonut uraa kotimaan lisäksi myös ulkomaisilla oopperalavoilla. Hänet muistetaan mm. suositun Tähdet, tähdet -kilpailun voittajana ja syksyllä 2020 hän esiintyi mm. Kansallisoopperan Covid fan tutte oopperassa. Maria Ylipää on luonut uraa näyttelijänä teatterilavojen lisäksi myös televisiossa ja elokuvissa. Hänet on palkittu parhaana naisnäyttelijänä kultaisella Venlalla vuonna 2017 roolistaan sarjassa Aallonmurtaja. Hän on esiintynyt lukuisissa musikaaleissa mm. Helsingin kaupunginteatterissa, Svenska Teaternissa, Tampereen Työväen Teatterissa ja Tukholman Cirkuksessa.\r\n\r\nKesto n. 2 tuntia, sisältää väliajan. "fi": "Pepe Willberg nousee kesällä 2021 ensimmäistä kertaa Salmelan Puistonäyttämölle. Mukanaan hän tuo 8-henkisen orkesterinsa ja Lumos-jouset. Willbergin mittava muusikonura alkoi jo 1960-luvun alussa Islanders-yhtyeessä. Tämän jälkeen häntä on kuultu mm. Jormas ja Pepe & Paradise -yhtyeiden solistina. Hän oli myös mukana ennätyksiä rikkoneessa Mestarit -kokoonpanossa 1990-luvun loppupuolella. Pepe Willberg tunnetaan monipuolisena laulajana ja ainutlaatuisen äänen omaavana tulkitsijana, jonka kestohiteistä muistetaan mm. Saat miehen kyyneliin.\n \n\nKesto n. 2 tuntia, sisältää väliajan. "fi": "Taidekeskus Salmela on taidegalleria ja kesäajan kulttuuritapahtuma Mäntyharjun kirkonkylässä. Se kuuluu Finland Festivalsin jäsentapahtumiin. Salmelan toimintaan kuuluvat kuvataidenäyttelyt, konsertit, laulu- ja kuvataidekilpailut, luennot ja runotapahtumat.\r\n\r\nTaidenäyttelyt sijaitsevat Salmelan päärakennuksessa ja Domanderin näyttelyalueen apteekki- ja postitaloissa, palvelijan asunnossa sekä piharakennuksissa, joissa sijaitsee myös Nina Ternon teoskokoelma. Teoksia on esillä myös Ravintola Kesäheinässä, huvimaja Höijerissä sekä maisema- ja veistospuistoissa.\r\n\r\nRAVINTOLAPALVELUT\r\nTaidekeskus Salmelan yhteydessä palvelee Ravintola Kesäheinä, joka toimii myös näyttelytilana. Ravintola Kesäheinässä on päivittäin katettuna herkullinen buffetlounas, josta voi valita mieleisensä makuelämykset. Kahvilan valikoimista löytyvät herkulliset kahvileivät sekä raikkaat juomat (A-oikeudet). Ravintola Kesäheinä palvelee päivittäin näyttelyn aukioloaikojen mukaan. Kesäkioski on avoinna tapahtumien yhteydessä.\r\n\r\n\r\nPUTIIKKI\r\nSalmelan päärakennuksessa sekä Domanderin näyttelyalueen Apteekkitalossa sijaitsevissa vastaanotoissa on myynnissä taidekortteja, taidegrafiikkaa, cd-levyjä, taidekirjoja sekä erilaisia matkamuistoja. "fi": "Heinäkuun avaa Salmelan kaikkien aikojen suurin sinfoniakonsertti kun Salmela Festival Orchestra esiintyy Puistonäyttämöllä. Salmelan kapellimestari, trumpetisti Arto Paju on säveltänyt Viipuri-aiheista oopperaa, jonka ensiesitys on kesällä 2022 Salmelan Puistonäyttämöllä. Jo nyt kesällä 2021 saamme kuulla kappaleita tästä tositapahtumiin perustuvasta musiikkiteoksesta. Solisteiksi saapuvat Ville Rusanen, Mikael Konttinen sekä Hanna Hoikkala.\r\n\r\nArto Paju on toiminut keväästä 2019 lähtien Taidekeskus Salmelan kapellimestarina. Hänellä on mittava kokemus trumpetistina mm. Helsingin Poliisisoittokunnasta, Kouvolan kaupunginorkesterista ja Kouvolan varuskuntasoittokunnasta. Viimeiset 10 vuotta Arto Paju on keskittynyt pääasiassa sovitus- ja sävellystyöhön. Hän vastaa useimpien Salmelan konserttien sovituksista ja harjoituttaa ja johtaa myös Salmela House Bandia ja Festival Orchestraa.\r\n\r\nKonserttipaikoille pääsy avautuu tuntia ennen tilaisuuden alkamista.",
