"fi": "Koko Suomen reilun satavuotiaan itsenäisyyden ajan ovat maakuntalaulut kuuluneet paikallisiin juhlatilaisuuksiin ympäri maan. Maakuntalaulujen tehtävänä oli ja on ihannoida paikallista luontoa, kertoa kansan kohtaamista hankaluuksista, kohottaa taistelutahtoa ja ylistää maakunnan väkeä, usein erityisesti naisia.\r\n\r\nLauluista vanhin on Mäntyharjulaistenkin oma Savolaisen laulu vuodelta 1852 ja nuorin Päijät-Hämeen maakuntalaulukilpailun voittaja vuodelta 1998. Laulujen säveltäjät ja sanoittajat ovat suurimmaksi osaksi vielä tänäänkin tuttuja nimiä mm. J. Sibelius, O. Merikanto, K. Collan, J.H. Erkko, Z. Topelius, I. Kianto.\r\n\r\nMaakuntalaulut raikaa -konsertti haluaa nostaa nämä tänä päivänä ehkä vähän unhoon jääneet kansallisaarteet uudelleen esiin. Maakuntien rajat ovat vaihtuneet, niitä on yhdistelty, mutta laulut raikuvat ja yhdistävät edelleen asukkaitaan. Tänäkin päivänä useimmat meistä muistavat oman maakuntalaulunsa edelleen ulkoa, kiitos koulun musiikkituntien! Ahkerimmat ovat ehtineet mahdollisesti opetella myös uusien kotipaikkojensa laulut. Soivassa sunnuntaissa voit tulla verestämään muistojasi laulamalla tai vain kuuntelemalla kaikki maakuntalaulut yhdellä kertaa. Mukaan on valittu myös muitakin lauluja, jotka ovat saaneet lähes maakuntalaulun aseman sydämissämme.\r\n\r\nLaulattajina toimivat Mäntyharjulta kotoisin oleva sopraano, nykyisin tuusulalainen Taina Piira ja pianisti puolisonsa Janne Hovi. Konsertti on osa Mäntyharjun 425-vuotisjuhlaohjelmaa.",

Tukikohtana toimii 4H:n kerhotila Askeleella (Pyhävedentie, 4.krs), jossa leikimme, pelaamme, teemme kädentaitoja, mutta olemme viikon aikana mm. koulun kotitalousluokassa kokkailemassa ja pienillä retkillä, mahdollisesti uimahallissa Heinolassa. \r\n\r\nTarkempi ohjelma lähetetään ilmoittautuneille leirikirjeessä. \r\n\r\nIlmoittautuminen maanantaihin 10.2.2020 mennessä, paikkoja on rajallinen määrä ja ne täytetään ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä. Tavoitteena on antaa lahja niille lapsille, jotka muuten jäisivät ilman joulupukin tuomisia. Lasten toiveita on tiedusteltu etukäteen.
