"fi": "Pauanne on kolmen helsinkiläismuusikon muodostama yhtye: Kukka Lehto (viulu, koskettimet, arkistonauhat), Tero Pennanen (Hammond-urut, koskettimet, arkistonauhat), ja Janne Haavisto (perkussiot). Yhtye esittää säveltämäänsä kansanmusiikkia, joka pohjautuu suomalaisiin arkistonauhoihin.\r\n\r\nEsityksen teemana on uskomukset. Yleisölle kerrotaan musiikin lomassa uskomuksia niin vanhan kansanperinteen parista kuin nyky-Suomestakin. Vanhoista kansanuskomuksista löytyy monia nykyihmiselle täysin mielipuoliselta kuulostavia käytäntöjä. Voisi kuvitella, että tiede ja tiedonkulku\r\nolisivat jo jyränneet alleen uskomukset. Tämän päivän lehtiartikkelit horoskooppeineen ja yksisarvishoitoineen eivät ole kuitenkaan kovin kaukana menneen ajan mytologiasta. Entisaikoina onnea uskottiin olevan rajattu määrä kyläyhteisössä, ja toisten onni oli itseltä pois. Nykyäänkin onnea tuntuu olevan rajattu määrä valtion sisällä, eikä sitä haluta antaa muualta tuleville. Vanhoissa uskomuksissa tietäjän rautainen aita on suojellut pahalta siinä missä tänä päivänä halutaan uskoa muurien suojelukseen.\r\n\r\nOhjelmistoa varten on saatu käyttöön aineistoa Suomen Kirjallisuuden Seurasta, Kansanperinteen arkistosta sekä Juminkeko-säätiöltä. Esityksessä kuullaan soivana osana yhtyeen musiikkia useita legendaarisia kansanlaulajia kuten Tiila Ilkkaa, Oksenja Mäkiselkää sekä Taavi Uutelaa arkistonauhojen muodossa. Kaikki Pauanteen musiikissa käytettävät soittimet ovat aikoinaan olleet uskomusten mukaan syntisiä tai ihmiselle haitallisia.
